Personal Budget Project: Project Home and Assembly Instructions

The project is worth 140 points and will be evaluated using the Personal Budget Project Rubric.

10 POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR TOTAL SCORE FOR EACH CALENDAR DAY THAT YOUR PROJECT IS TURNED IN LATE. 

For example, if it is due on a Friday and not turned in until Monday, then that will be three days late so you will automatically lose 30 points. Being absent on the due date does not excuse you from this penalty. Plan accordingly.

You will prepare a personal budget that summarizes typical monthly expenses for a single person, living independently of any parents or guardians and newly entering the job market.The project will take place over the next three weeks and will involve work to be done both at school and at home. The following is a summary of the steps involved in completing the project. Instructions will also be given in class. Attendance is important to the completion of this project.
